Fall Baseball in Mansfield is a chance to get some additional reps and prepare for the upcoming spring season in a low key relaxed setting. New to baseball? It's a great opportunity to get your feet wet. We offer various divisions for all levels of play. We do our best to honor 'play with' requests in the fall. Games are on Sundays and weeknights.
We start games right after Labor Day. Practices are on Saturdays (Farm division and up).
As part of Fall Ball we also roll the clock forward on player age per Little League age guidelines. For example if your player was a LL 12 year old during the Spring 2022 season, they are now a LL 13 year old for the Fall 2022 season. So for those players moving up a division in the upcoming spring this is an excellent opportunity learn the ropes ahead of the spring.
Travel Soccer & Flag Football: Both have fixed schedules on Saturdays. Our coaches will work around those times as much as possible. We will coordinate with these
Fall Divisions:
Players are placed by their grade or "baseball age" of the upcoming spring season. See out website for more complete division descriptions.
Instructional/Rookie (5U-6U): - Clinic style format. Working on basic skills and having fun. A single session on Sundays of around an hour in length.
Farm (7U-8U): Real baseballs, players pitching mid-season.
Minors (9U-10U): Learning to steal home plate. All player pitch.
Majors (11U-12U): Leading and stealing on the 50/70 field (Field #6, slightly larger than the standard small diamond fields). Close to half of the spring majors games are played on this field.
Juniors (13U-15U): Big diamond! Mixed teams of 13U to 15U play at Otis, JV and Varsity fields (all in Mansfield). For upcoming 13U players this is an great opportunity to get your feet wet before the spring.
Wood Bat (16U+): A casual-competitive league played on Saturdays against a host of other towns. We carry a larger roster as the older players have jobs and such. Wood bats only!
